Poem From the Past

Hold on, stay strong, the worries of my world holding me down..
Let it go, put it in Gods hands, set them free
Can't think, can't move, breathless, the questions linger
My world slipping away, my soul is breaking
This burden pressing me down, tying me up, beating me motionless
Took this weight to move on and to set it free
My shoulders cracking, my head still pounding, frustration building
Close your eyes, grit your teeth, hold it in, breath out
Built this existence, not alone, but trying to remedy this coma of the previous
Wandering lost with without you Lord, I need you in my life
My flesh of my flesh yearning, suffering as the battle lingers
The journey seem endless as the rain streams down in puddles at time
Choking, gasping, drowning, I want to find peace with the Lord
Save me, hold me, help me, Love me, carry me, I beg of you….
I thank you for my birth and all that's followed
I thank you for today and I will pray for tomorrow
I pray for my enemy and those who used violence against me
There is something better after here but everybody won't go
I ask you to forgive them and hope they see the light
